Visions of the Zone

You were on your way to the Zone - some of you for the first time, some of you yet another... and some of you for the last time, probably. One peculiar guide offered you a hassle-free passage right through the military checkpoint at the Zone’s border. Brief moments after you stepped into the Zone, a massive emission struck. With no place to shelter, you succumb to its influence and lose your conciousness.

You wake up a couple of days later, near the so-called Rookie Village - with a massive headache and some visions of the past events. Well, at least you're alive.

The weirdest part? There seem to be no traces of the incident whatsoever. No wrecked truck. No remains of your guide. And seemingly none of the stalkers in the nearby village recall there being any emissions in the past few days.

Visions of the Zone is a one-page roleplaying game based on the awesome Lasers & Feelings by John Harper. It was made as an entry for the One-Page RPG Jam 2021.
